With a length of about 7 kilometers and an uphill elevation gain of about 374 meters, the trail offers a hiking experience of about 4 hours (excluding stops), with difficulty rated as E (hiking). Between lanes and paths, nature welcomes and surprises us at every step.

Climbing up along the road to the impressive Bennistra Tower - a tower dating back to the 14th century - we immerse ourselves in the unique atmosphere of the Scopello landslide, a geological event that shaped the landscape a few decades ago. It is not an easy path, but with a firm and slow pace we succeed in the undertaking, letting ourselves be fascinated by the nature that opens up around us.

Continuing the ascent, we climb the rocky ridge overlooking the picturesque village. Finally, we reach a wide plateau that allows us to walk with more ease. To the right, on a small hill, we find the striking Islamic Granary-an ancient grain storehouse used by the Arab-born inhabitants of Visicari.

A few more steps and we are faced with the breathtaking spectacle of the Gulf of Castellammare on one side, and the Zingaro Nature Reserve on the other, which seen from above gives us a unique viewing experience.

We now head for Sentiero Italia, which will lead us from the picturesque Segesta to Scopello, taking us back to our starting point.

The starting point for this adventure is from the picturesque Guidaloca Bay, an ideal starting point for explorers eager to discover coastal beauty.

Our first stop will be a unique vantage point from which we can admire the enchanting view of Castellammare del Golfo.

Following the path that skirts the sea, we reach our first stop: the Fisherman's Cave. This fascinating natural site offers us an interesting stop to admire the beauty of the seascape.

Continuing our journey, we arrive at the Euphemia Cave. Un'altra meraviglia naturale che ci permette di immergerci nella tranquillità e nella bellezza della costa. The path continues to the Cala Bianca Stream. This small stream creates a serene and picturesque atmosphere, perfect for a short break before heading back up the hill.

We ascend from the Cala Bianca Stream, which will take us to the Hill of Cala dei Sogni. From here, our trail branches off onto the old coastal road, offering breathtaking views of the area.

Walking the scenic path, we come to an extraordinary point from which we can “look out” and admire the majesty of the Castle of Castellammare del Golfo. A perfect place to take photos and enjoy the spectacular view.

It is time to return to our starting point; we will walk along the upper sea ridge, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the coastal wilderness. This stretch gives us an additional perspective of the magnificent surrounding landscape.

The coves will greet us with turquoise waters reflecting the colors of the sky, transforming the landscape into a spectacle of breathtaking beauty. An experience that will allow us to fully immerse ourselves in the enchanted atmosphere of the sunset, capturing every moment of this magical nature.

At dawn, the awakening along the coast offers us an equally fascinating sight. The sky will be tinged with delicate shades of pink, purple and orange as the sun begins its slow rise over the horizon. The caves we encounter will be illuminated by dim but enchanting light, with the rock walls tinged with pastel hues and golden reflections. The coves will be colored in shades of pink and lilac, with the sea reflecting the sky like a silver mirror. In this setting of rare beauty, we will witness the miracle of sunrise, absorbing every Shade and change of light along our path.
